WeBuyGuns Team

What if I got a better offer elsewhere?

We aim to make our strongest offer upfront.

If you happen to receive a better offer from another licensed buyer, we’re happy to take another look.

We price every firearm using real market data, current demand, and what we can responsibly pay on resale.

In most cases, that means our initial offer is already competitive and often stronger than other online buyers.

If you do happen to receive a higher offer, feel free to share it with us. If it’s a comparable, legitimate offer, we’ll do our best to beat it.

The process

How it works

If you happen to receive a better offer from another licensed buyer, we’re happy to take another look. Here’s how it works:
Pricing Promise - step 1

Send us the competing offer

Forward the offer you received, an email or screenshot is perfectly fine. We just need enough detail to understand the firearm and pricing.

Pricing Promise - step 2

We’ll review it

We compare the offer against current market demand, recent sales, and the details of your firearm to determine if it’s something we can reasonably match.

Pricing Promise - step 3

If we can improve your offer, we will

If the offer is comparable and makes sense, we’ll match or beat it and send you an updated cash offer - no back-and-forth required.

We keep this process straightforward for everyone:
We compare against licensed firearm dealers (FFLs), not private sales or auction listings.
The offer must be for the same firearm, in the same condition and configuration
We review once and respond with our best offer, we don’t go back and forth
Most of the time, our original offer is already at or above other buyers - but if not, we’ll take another look to try to earn your business.

Factors that affect offers

Why offers can vary

You may see different offers from different buyers depending on several factors:

Current demand for that specific firearm can vary based on trends, rarity, and how quickly similar items are selling.
Demand
What a buyer already has in stock can impact pricing. If they’re well-stocked on a model, their offer may be lower.
Inventory levels
Condition plays a major role in value. Wear, modifications, and overall presentation can all affect the final offer.
Item condition
Original boxes, magazines, optics, and other accessories can increase value and lead to stronger offers.
